Paul Phipps met Robert Day on some track days, but
his introduction to racing started in 2003 with his
first venture being in the Caterham Academy.
In 2004 Paul had the opportunity of joining Robert
in the MG Trophy series driving a TF cup car. This
resulted in a second in class for the season of 2005
and a number of individual class wins.
With the demise of MG, Paul became involved with
BMW's in the Britcar series. Paul’s racing highlight
has been competing and completing the 24hr Britcar
race at Silverstone in 2007 with TWC.
“My biggest regret is that I took up competition
racing too late. I could be politely regarded as a
mature driver, but hope that with the help of TWC I
still have a few wins left in me, gaining more
experience and tuition before I have to become more
pedestrian”
